The Reasonably Smart Platform uses OpenID for sign in. To create a cloud computing environment for the web a federated identity system that isn't held centrally is a requirement.
OpenID fits the bill perfectly.
The only time you'll need to enter a username and password on the Reasonabl Smart Platform is when you want to secure your git repository.
Where possible, we'll try not to hold on to details about you. If you want you can give us an email address so we can notify you of problems, but you don't have to.
If you do, we promise, we won't give it away, email you with newsletters, we'll only use it to notify you of problems with your hosts.
